Nancy E. Parsons, President, CDR Assessment Group, Inc.

Nancy is President and co-founder of CDR Assessment Group, Inc. (CDR) based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. CDR specializes in cutting-edge psychological assessments and business performance tools. CDR’s assessment products uniquely combine leading knowledge and research to provide new insights delivering practical solutions to complex problems. CDR’s consulting services focus upon: leadership and executive coaching and development, client education on maximizing use of assessment tools, identifying and aligning talent (and teams) with business strategy, talent capability analysis projects, custom training design and delivery, research and results validation, customized product development, and educational services.

Nancy has over 25 years of in-depth experience in: leadership/executive development and coaching, personality and motivational assessments, training/certifying executive coaches, succession planning, organizational development, strategic management, performance management systems, quality, training and development, and human resources management.

In 1998, she co-authored, along with CDR co-founder Kimberly R. Brinkmeyer, Ph.D., the break-through CDR 3-Dimensional Assessment Suite®. These coaching tools reveal a leader’s: character, risk factors, and driver & reward needs. In 2000, she developed the CDR 360° Leader ScanTM, now an online multi-rater feedback tool. Additionally, Parsons has developed a wide range of human resource/organizational development programs and published materials. She has authored more than 20 articles and is working on a book related to executive development using their ground-breaking assessment tools. Parsons has presented at international, national and regional industry conferences and has instructed coaching skills workshops for thousands of leaders and consultants from global organizations.

Previous to forming CDR Assessment Group, Nancy served as Corporate HR Director for Sun Pipe Line Company including HR generalist functions and labor/employee relations, and training & organization development management responsibilities for a 13-state operating area.

Edward White, Ed.D., Educational Psychology

Ed brings over 30 years of industry experience to the benefit of his clients. During his career with a major petroleum company, Ed worked in all facets of Organization Development including assessing needs, designing, planning, implementing, delivering, facilitating, and measuring results of training programs. Ed built and implemented a competency assessment program for managers and provided one-on-one coaching to managers based on their individual competency assessment results. Ed and his staff received an award from the Oklahoma chapter of the American Society of Training and Development for the most innovative solution to leadership development.

Ed has personally instructed and facilitated programs for thousands of leaders in the U.S., Canada, Venezuela, England, Scotland, Norway, Australia, Indonesia, and China. Ed has received certification as an HR Professional from the Society of Human Resource Management, an executive coach with CDR, and instructor with Baker Communications, Inc. He has been an adjunct professor at Oklahoma State University and ITT Technical Institute. Additionally, he served for several years on the Advisory Board for the OSU/OU Executive Education Partnership Program.

Ed’s academic credentials including a master’s in statistics, and MBA in management, and a doctorate in educational psychology from Oklahoma State University provide him a unique perspective on understanding how managers learn and development in the workplace.

In addition to his teaching and coaching responsibilities,  Ed is the Vice President of Global Talent Development.

John Gutowski, the Former Manager of Executive and Management Development for DaimlerChrysler (Chrysler LLC)

John’s expertise has been developed over 30 years of corporate process improvement, interpersonal relationship building, talent identification and development in a multicultural context.

He retired in 2006 as manager of executive education for DaimlerChrysler Corporate University. John designed and launched significant programs during his tenure to include the Chrysler Foundations of Leadership Series: Enhancing Individual and Group Leadership Performance and The Role of an Executive: topics on corporate strategy, leadership, and how one’s role transitions from a manager to an executive. As a member of the Executive Management Development organization, he was responsible for the identification, assessment, and professional development of globally dispersed executives.

John was responsible for a global initiative that broke the paradigm for eLearning at DaimlerChrysler Corporate University by initiating a Learning Platform for 5000 globally dispersed executives to include self-managed learning and corporate knowledge management. His consulting and facilitation skills have taken him to facilities in manufacturing and assembly plants, parts distribution centers and European sales operations including Austria, Belgium, France and Italy. He also designed and facilitated leadership programs for Chrysler de Mexico as well as cross-cultural awareness training for Chrysler’s European Operations.

John has a BS in Marketing and an MS degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University. John has attended certification programs at MIT’s Sloan School for Systems Thinking as well as the Executive Quality College, Conflict Dynamics, and the Organizational Workshop by Power and Systems. Besides being considered an excellent facilitator in the classroom John has developed into a sought after executive coach. He is qualified to administer and interpret DISC, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, CDR’s 3-D Assessment Suite, Cultural Orientations Indicator, Benchmarks and Executive Dimensions assessment instruments.

John is currently engaged as an adjunct faculty member with the Center for Creative Leadership’s Greensboro, NC Campus where he engaged with mid-level management development initiatives with Coca-Cola and Sanofi Pharmaceuticals. Other engagements with clients include General Dynamics, General Mills, PWC, Ernst & Young, Symantec and SAIC. John’s book “A Corporate Education” was published in 2010 and has received positive reviews on Amazon.com. John served proudly in the US Army as a non-commissioned signal corps officer in Dak To, Vietnam.

Simon Vetter, President, Stand Out International, Inc.

Simon Vetter works with executives and professionals who want to create positive, lasting change and improve performance for them, their teams and organization. In his role as an executive coach, facilitator and educator he specializes in executive presence, effective interpersonal communication, team productivity and organizational growth.

The purpose of his change method is to help successful people get even better by leveraging their strengths, acquiring new competencies, articulating their vision and leading by example. Simon’s work is focused on developing strong self-‐awareness and achieving sustainable behavioral change linked to business results.

He is the author of STAND OUT! Branding Strategies for Business Professionals. His book was translated into Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese. Simon has trained and coached hundreds of leaders in entrepreneurial to Fortune 500 companies throughout America, Asia and Europe. He has worked extensively in the United States, Europe (Switzerland, German, Italy), Asia (Singapore, Hong Kong, China) and Latin America (Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, Peru) helping companies develop their senior executives and high-‐potential leaders as well as their teams. Simon has delivered many training programs in English and German.

Prior to his consulting career, he delivered training programs for Dale Carnegie Training. Previously, he was marketing manager for ZfU, a management training firm in Zurich.Simon is a faculty member at Alliant International University teaching courses on professional career development. He is also a regular conference speaker.

Judith Finley

Judith Finley is a business consultant and executive coach with 25 + years’ business experience. After earning an MS in Secondary Education from the University of Missouri and her MBA in Business Strategy from Columbia University, she worked in advertising, marketing and communications consulting and executive search for major companies in the U.S. and London.

Today, she is owner and Managing Director of Hanover International, specializing in organizational design and strategy, assessment and 360 feedback, executive coaching, training and team building. Her clients have included large corporations, not-for-profit foundations and small entrepreneurial businesses. Some accounts served are: PepsiCo, MasterCard, Quaker Foods, Starbucks, Wal-Mart, Hess, A&E Television Networks, Columbia Memorial Hospital Foundation, The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, JSL Computing, Hudson, NY, and Traditions, Hudson, NY.

Judith lives near Hudson, NY. She is on the Board of Directors of Columbia Memorial Hospital Foundation and is Vice-president of the Board of Diamond Opera Theater. She loves the outdoors, is an avid golfer and has recently taken up kayaking.

Gary Richetto

Gary Richetto, Ph.D., Organizational Communications from Purdue University

Gary is President of Triad Associates, Inc., a consulting firm in strategic planning, organization development, and human resources management. Prior to founding his firm in 1981, he was Corporate Director of Organization Development for The Williams Companies, responsible for managing consulting services to Williams’ subsidiaries in energy, pipelines, steel distribution, and agricultural chemicals. Preceding his Williams role, Gary served on the faculty of General Motors Institute, teaching and conducting research in the Department of Communication and Organizational Behavior and consulting to GM’s operating units in organizational change and development. Gary began his consulting career while in graduate school, having received a work-study fellowship at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center to consult to the agency in conjunction with his doctoral dissertation research.

Gary has worked with a variety of national and international clients, among who are General Motors Corporation, Carnation/Nestles, Mapco, Unocal, Occidental Petroleum Corporation, Miller Brewing Company, WorldCom and others, as well as such government agencies as the Department of the Treasury, the Federal Trade Commission, the Federal Reserve Bank, the Department of Justice, and the Federal Aviation Administration.

Valerie Ulstad

Val Ulstad, MD, MPA, MPH brings her 25 years of academic and private cardiology practice, physician leadership and award-winning teaching skills to her current role as CEO of Partners at Cascade Bluff as an educator in independent practice and a process consultant, emphasizing leadership capacity building in health care and the non-profit sector. Refocusing a life of “heart work” toward the challenge of facilitating human development, she now works deeply and broadly within organizations and teams to catalyze transformative change. She is a distinguished alumnus of the University of Minnesota’s Medical School, School of Public Health and post-graduate medical training programs,is a certified coach of the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara, and a graduate of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, where she was a student of Dr. Ron Heifetz. She is also a trained Facilitator for the Center for Courage and Renewal, which promotes the work of Parker Palmer and the Circles of Trust approach.

Matt Starcevich

Matt Starcevich, Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior, University of Oklahoma

Matt is the president of the Center for Coaching and Mentoring, Inc. The Center was created in 1978 for the purpose of fostering individual, leader, and team effectiveness. Matt’s special interests lie in helping train and prepare leaders and mentors, build teamwork, create effective working relationships, and transform organization cultures into high performance systems.

Matt began his career as an Assistant Professor of Management at The University of Notre Dame. After three years of teaching and research, his interest in the application of individual and group theory led him to the Director of Organization Development of G.D. Searle, Phillips Petroleum, and Rexnord. With both theoretical and practical experience, he has since 1978, consulted with both large and small corporations, school systems, and nonprofit organizations. His clients include: Federal Express, Koch Industries, Phillips Petroleum, Kaiser Permanente, Chevron, Dow Brands, Ameritech, Exxon, PG&E, FAA, Boy Scouts of American, Monsanto, Canada Post, Bank of Montreal, and Boeing.

Matt enjoys facilitating leadership, mentoring, and team building workshops as well as designing unique and specialized learning experiences such as: outdoor experiential learning, simulations, customized video productions, and case studies. Central to his work is simplifying the complex arena of individual and group research and theory in an understandable, practical, and useable manner.

Matt has written six books: Introduction To Business: A Systems Approach; The Coach: Creating Partnerships For A Competitive Edge; Teamwork: We Have Met The Enemy And They Are Us; Win-Win Partnerships: Be On The Leading Edge With Synergistic Coaching; Mentors: Bridging To The Future; and, 7 Difference-Making Leadership Behaviors. A highly effective speaker, he is a frequent presenter at the International American Society for Training and Development. Matt has a Doctoral degree from the University of Oklahoma, a Masters in Business Administration from Northern Illinois and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Western Illinois University. He is listed in Who’s Who in the Southwest, Who’s Who in Science, and received ASTD’s Organization Development Practitioner of The Year Award in 1989.
